This site (cantonfair.globalfromanywhere.com) is a free Canton Fair resource
published by Global From Anywhere. This policy covers the marketing site only. Programs you
book through us, and the wider Global From Anywhere network, may collect more information
under their own terms.
What we collect
- Nothing you have to give us to read the site. There is no account, no login, and no newsletter form on these pages.
- Information you send us. If you email us or enquire about a trip, program, or event, we keep what you send so we can reply and arrange it.
- Standard server logs. Our host records IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use these to keep the site running and to investigate problems.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets its own cookies to do that. We use it for aggregate traffic reporting only, and we have not turned on Google Signals, advertising features, or remarketing. We do not run advertising cookies or retargeting pixels.
The site also loads one third-party script from app.buildmyonlinestore.com, which
powers a store and booking widget and may set its own cookies when you interact with it.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, by sending a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
Third parties
Pages here link out to Global From Anywhere and Global From Asia properties, to Cross Border Summit, and to partner services. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. The same goes for anything embedded from a video or booking provider.
The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes request data on our behalf in order to serve pages. Google processes analytics data as described above.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent visitor information.
- We do not build advertising profiles from your visits here.
- We do not link analytics data to you personally.
- We do not ask for payment card details on this site.
How long we keep things
Enquiries are kept while we are helping you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick up the thread if you come back for a later fair. Server logs are short-lived and expire on our host's normal schedule.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Reach us through the Global From Anywhere contact page. We will verify who you are before acting on a request about personal information.
Children
This site is aimed at business travellers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
